New War Eagles!
Rising 6th grade students and parents…
In normal times, we would have already had 5th Grade Tour Day and 5th Grade Parent Night. We know you have a lot of questions and we want you to feel good about 6th grade. We believe the best way to handle this is through a series of videos. You can watch these at your own pace. If you still have questions after watching, feel free to email our administrators, Jennifer.Kogod@hallco.org, Chuck.Bennett@hallco.org or Libbie.Armstrong@hallco.org.
Also, 5th graders – you will be the Class of 2027! (Despite what the videos might say) That is the year you will graduate from CHS.
Thinking about Chorus or Band!
For 6th graders, Chorus and Band are yearlong Connections classes and you must sign up for them. (Most of the other Connections classes are on rotation.) Our music programs are truly outstanding. If you would like to sign up for either (or both) click here.

Summer Enrichment
You did it! Another year is in the books and you are on to the next grade. As you enjoy your break, take some time to continue learning, leading, and being a part of your family. Choose some ideas from the chart below or come up with your own. Don’t forget to take some time for yourself too, you’ve earned it.

Frequently Asked Questions
We will finish this school year with School from Home.
We understand there are a lot of questions. Since the situation outside our school is so fluid, we are not yet in a position to answer some of them. As we get questions we will post them here. We will also post the answers as we develop them.
If you have questions not listed here, would you please send them to one of our istrators?

How can my 7th grader signup for next year’s Carnegie Unit Connections classes?
Click on the “Connections Survey” tab above.
How can I find out about my student’s schedule for next year?
We are working on schedules right now. Check back for a more complete answer.
How can I get my student’s Yearbook, and/or t-shirts and/or trip refunds?
Drop by between 5-7 on Monday June 15th or Tuesday June 16th to pick up your yearbook.
How can my student say goodbye to his/her teachers?
We miss our students and are very sorry that we did not get to celebrate our students’ work and to wish them a fond farewell. We are a pretty creative bunch here at Chestatee. It would not be surprising for us to stage a get-together, once it is safe. Stay tuned.
